Update: Reading all your comments below made me tear up. Thank you guys for being so kind and so supportive with the whole situation. I never grew up with any pets so Shrimp and Udon (my other guinea pig) are my first pets ever and so this is the first time I'm experiencing this type of heartbreak with a sick pet. Initially, I had another vet appointment on Saturday but scheduled another vet appointment for Thursday instead and also with a different vet in hopes that they can actually find out what's going on with her. Thank you all. <3 Hey everyone. Just wanted to say thx for all those who are wishing for Shrimp to get soon. I really appreciate all the kind comments. So far, not much has changed since the vet visit. I’m stuck by her side having to hand and syringe feed her around the clock. On top of the prior gut issues that I originally went to the vet for, her breathing changed and she’s having such a hard time breathing. She still doesn’t have energy at all but today I did see her once go out of her way to get some food for herself which I’m hoping is a good sign. I have another vet appointment scheduled for Saturday but I’m going to see if I can get her to a different vet asap since more issues came up. :/

I know this pic is un-related to the rest of this post but anyways. Had to go to the vet today for one of my guinea pigs, Shrimp. Little did I know that I’d be stuck there for four almost five hours. Shrimp hasn’t been eating for the past two days and not interested in any food at all. I’d always catch shrimp just huddled in the corner, not moving, responding, etc. Vet told me that it’s either just very gassy/bloated and having digestive issued which should pass OR could be a fatal condition called volvulus in which I may have to euthanize shrimp in conditions don’t get better in 24 hours. & that’s how my weekend is going.

I’m having such a horrible day today. Twitter locked me out of my account. I’ve been trying to verify my phone number to get back in but they won’t send me the code to verify it. I read that tons of other people got locked out of their account, too last night from some huge glitch that happened with twitter so hopefully that’s case :/ Gonna chill today cause whole thing is making me so anxious. :/
